Background Building Activities
Activity 1:
In this assignment you are to update the cafe page with an animated logo and create 3 additional files: wildlife_message, fishing, and cruises. The new files will include rollover images, videos, and sound. Your client has provided several files to assist you in developing these pages. These files can be found under Module 11 on the Student Resources page and in your Dreamweaver Student Files folder. Additional information you will need can be found in your training manual on pages Dreamweaver 201 through Dreamweaver 219. Four video tutorials are also provided to assist you: Adding Flash Objects, Adding Behaviors, Editing Behaviors, and Adding Rollover Images. Please contact your mentor using the Subject Line "Request for Help" if you need additional assistance. After you have tested the pages and compared the files to Figures H-6, H-10, H-14, H-18, and H-19, find this assignment in your Google Classroom and select MARK AS DONE.. Your mentor will provide feedback.
Activity 2: In this assignment you are to send your mentor an email answering questions 1a-1c in the Skills Review on page Dreamweaver 221, then continue with the Skills Review on pages 221 through 223 to insert a Flash movie into the workshops page. Second, create three new pages named annuals, perennials and water plants. Third, modify the tips page to include a rollover image and an mp3 audio file. Fourth, add a video to the plants page. Your client has provided several files to assist you in developing these pages. These files can be found under Module 11 on the Student Resources page and in your Dreamweaver Student Files folder. Please contact your mentor using the Subject Line "Request for Help" if you need additional assistance. When you are finished, test your links and compare your work to the checklist found under Module 11 on the Student Resource Page. When you are finished, find this assignment in your Google Classroom and select MARK AS DONE. Your mentor will provide feedback.
